Final Cut Pro Editing Weekend Workshop
When:
Weekend 11 - 12 October 2008
Where:
DFG, London
This intensive two day editing workshop is aimed at beginners as an introduction to Final Cut Pro and editing, with a focus on documentary. If you do have a little editing experience your skills will be greatly improved.
Each participant will have their own Mac workstation to ensure maximum hands on practice. LCD projection facilities also aid the learning process and guarantee clear and effective demonstrations so participants will leave with a confident grasp of the practical fundamentals of editing on the latest version of Final Cut Pro.
The course consists of seminars and practical exercises which guide you through essential elements of Final Cut Pro including:
non-linear systems
hardware
interface
deck control
capturing and digitising
working on timeline
working with audio
basic effects
printing to tape
Throughout the workshop you'll have the chance to put your questions to the tutor who'll shed light on any shady areas.
