Advanced FCP Editing Workshop

When:
9th and 10th February 2008 (Weekend)
10am – 6pm each day

Where:
DFG, London

This intensive two day editing workshop is aimed at people already familiar with Final Cut Pro who wish to build on their existing editing skills.

Each participant will be working on the latest FCP software (FCP 6) and will have their own Mac workstation in a very small class to ensure maximum hands on practice. LCD projection facilities also aid the learning process and guarantee clear and effective demonstrations.

The workshop will focus on documentary editing and will endow participants with
advanced technical skills and knowledge.

Topics will include:

-      Grading
-      Finishing techniques for color-correction
-      Building effects
-      Using Final Cut Pro 6 features like multi-cam editing
-      Compose effective sound design
-      Use motion effects
-      Using Filters
-      Understanding formats
-      Advanced exporting/outputting techniques for DVD and the web.
