DFG Internship - Current Vacancy

Boost Your Filmmaking Skills With a DFG Internship - Current Vacancy!
DFG currently has a vacancy for raring-to-go interns. If you are looking to build up your documentary filmmaking skills check out our interns 'training credits' scheme which gives you access to our top range of courses in documentary filmmaking.

"Interning with DFG enabled me to work with lovely people, build up practical filmmaking skills and access a useful network of contacts. I completely recommend it!"
- Eleanor

About The 'Hard Graft':
There's no ploughing the fields / working the mill wheel vacancies at the present time - instead the work is more of the administrative ilk! You might be helping us to prepare for our next event or course, or assisting with the content of the dfgdocs website. (Good writing skills are always welcome - although not essential - as we like it when you do reviews). Alternatively, you might be gathering data for marketing strategy. When DFG or its sister production company have productions underway, there are sometimes opportunities to assist with these too. Typically interns work with us full time for up to 2 months, but we can be flexible if you have other commitments.

Interns 'Training Credits' Scheme
In return for your work with us, you will build up training credits that you can use to attend DFG's wide selection of courses free-of-charge. With every hour's work your training credits increase (at a rate equivalent to the minimum wage). In a typical 35 hour week, you would earn just over £200 worth of training credits easily enabling you to attend courses like our Research or Sound workshops, and setting you well on your way to attending courses like the HDV Camera Workshop. For more information on the selection of DFG courses currently on offer check out www.dfgdocs.com/training

We are always happy to provide references and recommend good interns for work within the industry. Previous interns have gone on to work for a variety of production companies, as well as make their own films.

So if you are committed and hard-working, and you want to find out more about interning with DFG then please email a CV to Amber on amber@dfgdocs.com or 020 7249 6600.
