Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival announces a call for submissions

Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival 2007 is now accepting entries. Entry to the International Competition is free, and open to all.  A full list of entry requirements can be found on the festival website.

The New Asian Currents competition is open to artists living or working in Asia, with no restrictions on length or format.

Filmmakers can submit their film directly via the festival website:

The first deadline: December 15, 2006 (for works completed by October 31, 2006)
The second deadline: April 10, 2007 (for works completed after November 1, 2006)

New Asian Currents Deadline: May 31, 2007

The festival runs from 4th - 11th October 2007.
