Made in India airs this week on Channel 4's 3 Minute Wonder

This week on Channel 4 3 Minute Wonder slot - Made in India - Four short films on the theme of Indian independence made by emerging Indian directors.

The films run from Monday until Thursday so tune in Channel 4 tonight at 7.55 to see the first of the four films.

Monday - The Broken Land by Debalina Majunder
A lyrical film about a journey down the Jessore road: the road that separates West Bengal from Bangladesh.

Tuesday - Body British, Heart Hindustani by Ranjan Kamath
A light-hearted investigation into what the Ambassador car means to drivers, passengers and car lovers and what it symbolises about India.

Wednesday - The House Remembers by Pawas Bisht
Filmmaker Pawas Bisht goes back to visit the house where he was born, Holm Farm, a colonial bungalow in the foothills of the Himalayas. Here he discovers the stories of two past inhabitants of the house.

Thursday - English & I by Himali Kapil
What does it mean to speak English in modern day India? This is Himali’s personal journey around India’s capital, New Delhi, as she explores her own unique relationship with her mother tongue.
