FOCAL International announces award winners

FOCAL International, the organization responsible for representing the whole of the world’s footage archives, its professional footage researchers, consultants and facility houses held its annual awards ceremony at the Savoy Hotel in London, May 14.

A record breaking 207 submissions from 22 countries were judged this year, and the awards spanned 16 categories, acknowledging  those productions which have used library archive and stock footage in inspiring and innovative ways, As well as recognizing the work of key services involved with conservation and restoration, plus those archives and individuals who have furthered the development of the industry.
