Crossover Australia calling for applications

Crossover Australia will begin accepting applications between 1st August to 16th October for its 5-day interactive, residential workshop. The event is set the week leading up to the Adelaide Film Festival and the Australian International Documentary Conference from the 16th to the 21st of February 2007 in McLaren Vale (20 minutes from Adelaide).

The primary goal of the workshop is the development of conceptual prototypes for groundbreaking interactive projects. The creative think tank brings together national and international practitioners from film and new media sectors and aims to develop compelling digital and interactive projects that combine storytelling skills of independent filmmaking with the new kinds of interactivity made possible by emerging technology.

Accommodation and meals will be provided during the event, but participants are asked to cover their own travel costs. The workshop is only open to Australian residents.
