Canary Wharf Film Festival seeks docs

Festival organisers are looking for films under 20 minutes, made by UK residents and are really interested in having a look at very, very short films too - especially documentaries.

These will go into competition for the following:
  • Drama Award
  • Documentary Award
  • Animation Award
The first Canary Wharf Film Festival (CWFF) will launch between 13 and 17 September 2007, hosting a unique and free programme of feature-length and short films. Screenings will be held within the E14 area, focusing on the diverse local culture and history as well as showcasing UK filmmaking talent through it’s call for submissions.  This will culminate in a closing night Awards Ceremony commending films in the categories of Drama, Documentary and Animation.

The deadline for submissions is 29th June 2007. For more information, see DFGdocs/Festivals.
