Call for Entries - Waterford Film Festival

After a successful first year, The Waterford Film Festival is back with two extra days. The 2008 dates are the 5th-9th November.

The festival plans to screen a wide range of films, from feature films and documentaries, to short films and animation, and is now open for submissions for its 5 award categories.

The festival welcomes local, national and international films and is open to any form of genre.
 
The Festival has 5 categories including Feature Film, Feature Documentary, Short Film, Short Documentary and Best First Short Film.
 
"The medium of film is crucial to the way we as a society understand life and the world. It challenges us to think outside the box and live outside the fishbowl."

Filmmakers, writers, director, actors attend the festival from many different backgrounds and cultures to present their work for all to enjoy. The audience is made up of filmmakers, students and film buffs. The festival is not just for filmmakers but also for film lovers.

The deadline for submissions is 1st September 2008.
