Call for Entries - International Short Film Festival Winterthur

Winterthur is the biggest short film festival in Switzerland and a significant platform for both national and international short films. The 12th edition takes place from the 5th - 9th November 2008. The international competition is open to films of all genres produced within the last two years and which are no longer than 25 minutes. An international jury awards the following prizes:
  • Main prize worth CHF 12’000 (ca. Euro 7’300) for the best film in the international competition,
  • Promotion Award CHF 10’000 (ca. Euro 6’100) for the best achievement in directing
  • Special Award CHF 8’000 (ca. Euro 4’900) for the best Swiss short film.
  • The Audience Award CHF 8’000 (ca. Euro 4’900) is selected by the audience.
