Call for Entries - EcoVision 2008

The Festival internazionale di Ambiente e Cinema (International Festival of Environment & Cinema) will take place from the 5th - 10th June 2008. The festival is now seeking submissions, with a deadline of 14th March 2008.

The Festival aims at exalting and promoting cinematographic and environmental productions dealing with subjects such as man-environment problems, environment protection, the human rights, deforestation, the relationship with the city and new technologies, radioactive experiments in various areas of the world, sustainable development, how the concept of environment in rich countries differs from that belonging to poor countries, but also mere desciptions of meaningful environmental areas, and all the productions concerning any aspect of environment and nature.

Works from any country, realized from 2004 to 2007, can take part in the Festival, having as topic the object of the Festival: the “environment”.

The competitive section calls for documentaries under 30 minutes, although longer films can be accepted for screening outside competition.
