Call for Entries - Banff World Television Festival Awards

The campaign for programme competition entries at the 28th Banff World Television Festival (BWTVF) is officially underway.

The international programme competition now includes three interactive categories. A “Rockie” will be awarded to Best Mobile Programme Enhancement, Best Internet Programme Enhancement and Best Internet Only Production Programme.

The online entry form for the 2007 international programme competition and detailed regulations can be found at www.bwtvf.com/call.for.entries.php.

Television documentaries are eligible under the following categories:
  • Arts Documentaries
  • Feature Length Documentaries
  • History and Biography Programmes
  • Interactive Television Programmes
  • Information Programs & Current Affairs Programmes
  • Popular Science and Natural History Programmes
  • Reality Format Programmes
  • Social and Political Documentaries
Or in the 3 new expanded Interactive Categories:
  • Mobile Program Enhancement
  • Interactive Program Enhancement
  • Internet Only Production Program
Programmes must have been (or will be) transmitted for the first time anywhere in the world during 2006 or 2007 OR be available for first transmission not later than 10th February 2007. Entries for the 2007 international program competition may be submitted any time before the entry deadline 10th February 2007.
