Call for Entries - 17th Brisbane International Film Festival

The 17th Brisbane International Film Festival is now accepting entries.  The festival will take place from the 31st July - 10th August 2008.

The diverse program of this non-competitive festival includes features, documentaries and shorts, experimental work, animation and some video. The festival prides itself on showcasing Asia Pacific cinema.

Films must not have been screened previously in Brisbane and must not have appeared on Austrailian television. Films must be on 16mm or 35mm although experimental work and documentaries may be on video. Films in other languages must be subtitled in English.

Entry Fees: AUD $55 for Feature Films
        AUD $35 for Shorts

Deadline for submissions is 25th April, 2008.
