AIDC Key Note Speaker Announced

The Australian International Documentary Conference, taking place in Adelaide at the end of January, has announced that Alex Graham will give the conference's keynote speech. Managing Director of Wall To Wall, one of the UK’s leading independent production companies, Graham is also chair of the PACT Council.

AIDC Conference Director, Joost den Hartog says, “Alex Graham has experienced the power of an ongoing collective industry lobby whilst negotiating collective trade agreements on behalf of the independent sector with the UK free to air broadcasters. I hope that Alex's keynote address can inspire the Australian industry in a time when the funding structures are under review by the federal government.”

In his session, ‘The Anatomy of An Industry’, Alex will address issues the Australian industry is facing using his experience in the UK as Chair of Pact and as an independent producer.

Alex has been executive producer of several of Wall to Wall’s recent successes including New Tricks, the Emmy-winning George Orwell – A Life in Pictures, and Who Do You Think You Are?
