AIDC: Call for Session Ideas and Papers - Deadline Extended
AIDC: Call for Session Ideas and Papers - Deadline Extended
The Australian International Documentary Conference, an event for the industry by the industry, has issued a call for ideas and papers for its 2008 edition.
The Conference Director and Local Management Committee will discuss the session ideas and program contributions, along with the suggested moderators and speakers and will contact applicants by November 1 2007 if their submission is selected for the program. If successful, applicants will get to produce the session.
The 2008 conference will have storytelling as its central theme. We especially welcome ideas and papers that evolve around this theme. Storytelling is the core skill of our industry. The quality of the final story is influenced by almost every person involved in the creative process of making a film or television program.
Craft sessions and panel discussions that discuss or define the extents of good storytelling have our special interest.
The deadline to submit proposals has been extended to Monday 29th October.
Please check the AIDC website for details about how to submit an idea.
