4TALENT Search for the GRIERSON:SHEFFIELD Youth Jury

4Talent have partnered with Doc/Fest to present an exciting national hunt for the documentary voices of the future.

The festival wants young people to have a bigger voice in the documentary world - and that's why they want to find 5 young people to be part of the Youth Jury at this year's Sheffield Doc/Fest, who will select the winner of the Grierson:Sheffield Youth Jury Award.

But there's more to it than that. A shortlist of 12 people will be selected to attend the week-long Channel 4 Hothouse in London to learn all about the ins and outs of the world of documentary.

If you're selected onto the Youth Jury – you get to judge for yourself which film deserves the Grierson:Sheffield Youth Jury Award at this year's Sheffield Doc/Fest.

To enter – you don't need any experience but you do need a passion for what documentaries are about. You're the kind of person who does more than just watch - you're constantly digging deeper and Thinking about whether the film has done what it set out to do.

The process is hard work and very rewarding.
