Worldwide
Dates various
onedotzero has been the largest dedicated digital film festival in the world since 1999. Elements of the London event are presented around the UK and internationally, including Paris, Lille and Prague.
onedotzero aims to explore new ideas and fresh innovation through curated compilation screenings, features, exhibitions, live AV performances, club nights, presentations and panel discussions from internationally acclaimed artists and creatives.
Past festivals have included exclusive screenings, rare presentations, Q&A's and masterclasses from world acclaimed directors including Spike Jonze, Mike Mills, Michel Gondry, Jonathan Glazer, and Garth Jennings.
In addition to the festival, onedotzero has produced the tv series onedottv and the 12-part onedottv_global, award winning short films, interactive media, installations and other live event productions and commissions.
Submission Guidelines
If your work is selected for onedotzero_2008 it will become part of the international touring programme for the following year, potentially visiting over 50 cities worldwide.
onedotzero manages a distribution catalogue, promoting films to films festivals, and selling them for broadcast and download, and is often approached to recommend films and artists’ work worldwide. You can indicate on your submission form if you are interested in being considered for the following opportunities:
promoted to worldwide film festivals [in addition to
onedotzero global touring and events]
broadcast sales + distribution
future onedotzero dvd releases on the onedotzero
dvd label, generating royalties
The festival is free to enter. Films in a language other than English must be subtitled. Priority is given to more recent work from the last 2 years however certain programmes and projects do take a more historical look.
The festival accepts Beta SP and DigiBeta, although it prefers uncompressed QuickTime files supplied on a data DVD. Full details are available on the festival website.
