A global touring festival exploring the dynamic interplay of film,
art, music and design. Each year the festival showcases the year's
best shorts, features, music videos and animation in an environment
that combines screenings, live music events, parties, panel
discussions and technology demonstrations. In 2005 the festival
toured over 37 cities internationally including New York, San
Francisco, Los Angeles, Tokyo, London, São Paulo, Melbourne and
Cape Town.
All genres and visual forms, including narrative, documentary,
experimental and design-oriented work are accepted; entries can be
live action or animated, or hybrid. Screening formats accepted are
Mini DV, Digi Beta and Beta SP. The main consideration according to
the organisers, is innovation.
