Raindance Film Festival

London's annual festival celebrating the best of independent filmmaking, including shorts and documentaries.

Festival Jury Prizes are awarded in a number of categories, such as International Feature and Short, UK Feature and Short, Debut Feature, and Documentary. There are also a number of short film prizes including the Tiscali Film of the Festival ($2000 cash prize), the Canon Best Cinematography Award (brand new Canon XH A1 HD Camera), and the UK Short Film Award (2 return plane tickets to anywhere from the UK to the US).

Submission Details

Submission to the festival is via withoutabox.
Films must not have been released in the UK and must be independently produced. They must also have been completed after 1st June 2007. Submissions should be on DVD or VHS (PAL) and either English language or subtitled in English. Films under 49 minutes will be considered a short.

2008 submissions:
Early deadline: 1st May 2008
