This two-week festival runs on an annual basis, and this year its fourth edition will embark on an international tour. The festival's main strands are:
  • ‘The City’ in all its guises
  • New films on China by Chinese Directors
  • The Environment
  • Space
For the first time in 2007,Oxdox:MK will introduce awards – The Golden Ox Award voted by the audience for:
  • Best Documentary Feature
  • Best Short Film
  • Best Student Film
