Requirements: 16mm, 35mm, video.

Awards: Audience award for best short film (€2,500), jury award for best children and youth film (€1,500), three awards for best short film (€1,500 in total).


Prizes Include:


Audience Prize
For the 18th time there is an audience prize being presented. The award sum of €2500 is sponsored by VR Ban and Union Investment. The current film of those directors attending the festival take part in this competition. All films will be screened twice and are marked, as being in the competition, with a special symbol in the Festival program

Documentary Film prize
For the 3rd time there will be an audience prize for documentary films. The award sum of € 1500 is sponsored by the Distelhäuser brewery.

Children & Youth Film Prize
For the 14th time there will be a prize for Children Film. Once again the Sparkasse Mainfranken Würzburg is sponsoring the award sum of € 1500.

Short Film Prize
For the 13th time there will be Short Film Prizes totalling @ 1500. The 1st Prize of € 750 is sponsored by "e-ON Bayern", the 2nd Prize of € 500 is sponsored by Weingut Burrlein and the 3rd Prize of € 250 is sponsored from the Bar Centrale.

All Films in this competition will be screened in a Program Block twice.

Audience Award for the "Long Night of home produced"
The Bezirkstagspräsident sponsors this prize of € 150

Audience Prize "Kammerflimmern"
The films for this "Kammerflimmern" Film Block is the work of the FH Würzburg/Schweinfurt. CinemaxX is sponsoring the prize of € 150.

As usual the Awards Ceremony takes place on Sunday in the Corso Cinema. This year it is at 18:00 hours.
