The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles is a nonprofit organization devoted to paving the way for a greater appreciation of Indian cinema and diverse culture by providing the public with a selection of films from and about the Indian diaspora by Indian and International filmmakers.
Films from or about India, with or without an Indian theme, made by Indian and international filmmakers, are accepted into the festival. The festival screens narrative, documentary, music videos, experimental, children’s and animated films of any length and format. The call for entries normally opens in September.

Early Bird Deadline - November 17, 2008
- Films under 40 min: $25
- Films 40 min and over: $40
Final Deadline - January 9, 2009
- Films under 40 min: $40
- Films 40 min and over: $55
Films from or about India, with or without an Indian theme, made by Indian and international filmmakers, produced in 2007 or later, and films that have not had a public screening in Los Angeles are eligible to be submitted. DVDs (preferably in NTSC format) will be accepted for submission screening.
