Expresion En Corto International Film Festival

The Expresión en Corto International Short Film Festival is by its nature a group endeavor, a blast of people’s wills around a common goal: the creation of a culture and a sound cinematographic community, without the notions of exclusivity, because artistic expression should never be elitist.
The aforementioned vision is the common element between those who have already made films, those who want to make films, and those who just want to enjoy cinema. It is a space where the bonds that strengthen the feeling of belonging are forged; it stimulates the force that moves, directs, and integrates the ideas and trends that are part of this form of expression.
Expresión en Corto is always concerned with education and during the festival we offer workshops, seminars, scholarships, roundtable discussion groups, as well as workshops for children. It stimulates the creation of screenplays and the swift financial support of audiovisual and film projects. All of these offer an opportunity for educational and technical growth, in an environment of camaraderie, with an important exchange of ideas and techniques between novices and veterans of this industry.
