Edinburgh International Film Festival holds screenings at the city's finest cinema venues - the Filmhouse, the Cameo Theatre, and Cineworld (formerly UGC) Fountain Park. In Glasgow the Festival is featured at the Glasgow Film Theatre (GFT) and Cineworld (formerly UGC) Renfrew St. If you're coming to the Film Festival, the venue section holds all you need to know - addresses, maps, disability access, food and drink and other facilities at our key venues in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Submission Information
Categories include features, shorts, documentary, animation, music promos, experimental and young person's films.
Formats include 70mm, 16mm, 35mm, comopt (occasional Beta, DigiBeta, Super-16mm). Films submitted from outside the UK must have been produced during the two years before festival and British films during the year before the festival.
Awards include: McLaren award for new British animation, Michael Powell award for best new British feature.
