East Silver has become the biggest internationally recognized database of creative feature and television documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe. The market takes place during the 12th IDFF Jihlava, Czech Republic (October 24 – 29, 2008).

Submissions are valid also for the 12th IDFF Jihlava preselection.

Submission Guidelines

East Silver Documentary Market is open to filmmakers from Central and East Europe. In selecting films, organizers will concentrate equally on both artistic merit and exceptional content. The market accepts documentary films of all lengths and also short experimental films (up to 30 min.).

Only documentary films and video programs not entered in previous East Silver Markets and produced after January 2007 will be considered for the selection.

A signed and completed entry form must be sent to the East Silver office before July 30, 2008, along with 2 DVD preview copies, press kit with film photos and trailer. It is also possible to submit the entry form online through www.eastsilver.net.
