Docusur

This new festival focuses on documentaries shot in Southern and developing countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia.

There are five main sections, including the Official Competion and Parallel sections, the Docusur Market, Documentary Film Markets and the Civilisation Forum.

Films produced in the qualifying regions will be accepted, as will international productions shot in those countries. The International Competition includes awards for Best Documentary Film, Best Documentary Short Film and Best First Film.

The Docusur Market is aimed at producers from Latin America, Africa and Asia looking for co-productions and international distribution.
