Doc's Kingdom

17th - 22nd June 2008
Serpa

Doc’s Kingdom is a gathering of people interested in contemporary documentary film.

It includes the exhibition of relevant titles produced in the latest years and it offers the opportunity of a closer contact with its authors. It seeks to provide a better understanding of the paths of contemporary cinema, favouring collective debates that always arise from the viewing of concrete works.

It provides both the knowledge of well-known film makers and the discovery of young directors in the beginning of their careers.

Doc’s Kingdom guests are film makers, other film professionals and researchers in different areas. Participants at the seminar are film makers, other film professionals, researchers, students (either in film, arts, communication, social studies or others) and general public.
