CON-CAN Movie Festival

(Click for full image) The CON-CAN Movie Festival, organized by the CON-CAN Media Plaza, Tokyo, Japan, is an audience-interactive online international short film festival.

This film festival targets short films of up to twenty minutes in length and opens its doors widely to all image creators. Selected productions in streaming format with subtitles will be shown to audiences around the world, and evaluations will be made to determine the best productions.

The festival aims are to discover hidden creative talent from all over the world and to enable image creators and a global audience to share the underlying messages and sheer creativity expressed in profound short film productions.

Selected movies will be distributed free via internet streaming on CON-CAN's audience-interactive website with English/Japanese subtitles.

Submissions: Films or Videos up to 20 min. in length, in any language. Applicants may apply to the most suitable section from the following three sections:
- Fiction
- Animation
- Documentary: Open to works in any theme, genre, and style as long as the piece takes a form of documentary.
