Big Sky Documentary Film Festival

Started in 2004, The Big Sky Documentary Film Festival has grown over the last three years to become a major event with world and North American premiers.
The Big Sky Documentary Film Festival includes five separate categories including four competitions. The four competitive categories are Best Documentary Feature, Best Documentary Short, Best Mini Doc and the Big Sky Award. Filmmakers and distributors working in all forms, styles and subjects are encouraged to submit.
Deadlines
Early: 1st July 2006
Regular: 1st September 2006
Final: 20th october 2006
In addition to the three competitive sections the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival also includes retrospectives highlighting the work of important filmmakers and earlier classics in the genre. Filmmakers and distributors may entre films and videos released prior to 1st September 2005 for this section of the festival.
