BAFTA and Screen South are delighted to welcome BAFTA winner Louis Theroux to this year's SEE docs festival.

Best known for making documentaries that get to the heart of the world's most fascinating lifestyles and controversial human behaviours, Louis' gentle questioning style and tenacious journalistic focus has shone light on some of the world's most intriguing stories.
Over the years, though formats and subject matter have varied, Louis has remained true to a way of working that is uniquely his own: offering rounded portraits of the inhabitants, resisting easy judgments and giving us a nuanced picture of worlds in which people do questionable things for very human reasons.
