Synopsis:

Kurt Cobain, lead singer of Nirvana and icon for an entire generation, died in 1994, apparently due to a drug overdose. Broomfield sets out to investigate Cobain's death, but is blocked and even threatened by his widow Courtney Love. Gradually, the film becomes one about Love's erratic and possibly dangerous behaviour as the crew try to track down that elusive but vital interview.
