Synopsis:

Described by Mark Lawson in The Guardian as "a humiliation gameshow with anthropological ambitions", this three-part series for Channel 4 follows six couples on a grueling 28-day trek through the Namibian desert on an expedition led by former Special Forces Major Ken Hames. The participants, deliberately drawn from diverse backgrounds, are confronted with challenges that test both their relationships with the other members of the group and with their own partners.
