Synopsis:

Journalist Saira Shah returns to Afghanistan, where her father grew up and where she had worked several years earlier. Often filming undercover, she has extraordinary access to women living under Taliban rule, filming a delapidated women's hospital and an underground school for girls. The film also includes shocking footage of a public execution, obtained by the filmmakers from an underground women's organisation in the country.
