Synopsis:
After the memorable impact of the original Operatunity series, this film follows what has been happening in the lives of the winners Denise Leigh and Jane Gilchrist since then. The harsh reality hits on the morning after their extraordinary performances at the Coliseum in March. Soon, Denise sings at St James's Palace and meets the Queen. Both winners have revealing discussions with their newly acquired agent. They sign a contract with EMI and prepare for the recording of their album, helped by various language coaches and the former Operatunity judges, singer Mary King and record producer John Fraser. There are tensions and thrills at the final recording at Abbey Road Studios with the orchestra of English National Opera and conductor Paul Daniel. They have make-overs for photo shoots, 'media training' for interviews and have to sing for their supper in Paris. The lives of Jane and Denise, in their different ways, are being rapidly transformed.
