Afghanistan has never been conquered or colonised, yet it holds a brutal history. This impoverished nation has seen invasions by Britain, Russia and the US, as well as unrelenting internal attention between the Taliban, opposing warlords and drug barons.
Over a fourth of Afghan children do not grow to the age of six and many others live in hunger and cold. This unfortunate generation does not know why the wars took place; however suffer from its consequences, as many are forced to earn money to help keep their families from destitution.
This film reveals the experiences, views and solutions of the children whose lives have been destroyed by this war.
