Synopsis:

A three-part documentary recording the filmmaker's journey from Palestine into exile in London. The first part My Dear Olive Tree examines the role that olive trees play in Palestinian daily life and why it is important for people to defend them against Israeli attempts to destroy them. In Inside Outside generations of émigrés explain the sickness of exile to the filmmaker. The third part, No Choice Basis, tries to answer the question of whether life must be lived on a 'no choice basis'. This film was entered under the Student Programme category at the Sheffield Doc Fest 2006.
