Glastonbury surveys the history of the legendary festival through the vibrant sights and electric sounds that pervade it. Musicians featured include The Velvet Underground, Billy Bragg, The Scissor Sisters, Radiohead, David Gray, Björk, Coldplay, Chemical Brothers, Ray Davies, Morrissey, Prodigy, Toots and the Maytals and David Bowie among many others.
In 2002, when the future of Glastonbury was unknown, Michael Eavis wanted to document the festival that started in his 150 acre farm in 1970 with only a handful of musicians and 1,500 people as its audience. That year, director Julien Temple started shooting the documentary with Eavis as the film’s guide. Though the festival is no longer in trouble, Temple’s
