Synopsis:
In 1970 a young farmer, Michael Eavis, opened his 15-acre farm to
1,500 people. He charged one pound per person to see a series of
pop bands play all weekend, and the Glastonbury Festival was born.
In 2002 the future of the Glastonbury festival was in question, and
Mr. Eavis wanted to have a record of the festival's tradition, just
in case it would be its last year. Julian Temple wasted no time to
start working on this documentary where he goes backstage to
interview big music stars and record the big musical tradition and
the many different generations of young music fans which have
passed through Glastonbury.
