Synopsis:

On November 5th 1605 Guy Fawkes and a group of  Catholic conspirators plotted to destroy the King and the British parliament. On the 400th anniversary of the foiling of the gunpowder plot, this dramatised documentary uses an accurate full size replica of the 15th century House of Lords to show what would have happened had the plan succeeded and the 36 barrels of gunpowder had exploded. 17 cameras are used to film the detonation.
