Synopsis:
In this shocking investigative documentary, award-winning
journalist and filmmaker John Pilger travels to Iraq with the
former UN Assistant Secretary-General, Denis Halliday, who resigned
in protest over the sanctions imposed on the country in September
1998. Pilger shows the devastating effects that these sanctions, as
well as the ten-year isolation imposed by the UN and enforced by
the US and Britain, had on the Iraqi children during the 1990s.
