Synopsis:
Over twelve weeks, fourteen candidates are scrutinised in their entrepreneurial abilities by self-made millionaire Sir Alan Sugar and his two close advisors, Margaret Mountford and Nick Hewer. The aspirants, who share a luxury townhouse for the duration of the show, are divided into two groups that have to carry out a weekly assignment. Each team is assigned a project manager and it is up to them to decide who have been the two least competent candidates. The board then decides which of the two will end up fired. The winning team is rewarded in the luxurious style to be expected from executive life. Of course every candidate's aim is to achieve a six-figure salary and become Sir Alan's apprentice. The highly popular show has been running for three series.
