Synopsis:

This film examines the conflict between traditional and progressive attitudes toward women in contemporary Japan. Revisiting her native Tokyo with her band, the 'Frank Chickens', after living in England for 15 years, musician Kazuko Hohki experiences the clash of family, religious, and sex-role traditions with the modern reformist attitudes of her friends.
