Synopsis:

In South Africa more than 1500 white farmers have been murdered in the past decade. Is this a campaign to drive them off the land or just another aspect of the country's persistent crime wave?

Against a background of increased land hunger and frustration with the pace of land reform, some see the killings as a Zimbabwe style bid to intimidate whites off their farms. This film for BBC Two follows a white farmer, a black land claimant and a policeman investigating farm murders over a bloody fortnight.
