100 cultural documentaries about many of the most important artists of the twentieth century. His films garnered many awards including a British Academy Award for his documentary, The Art of the Third Reich. He lives in London and the South of France.

The documentary was nominated for a BAFTA Flaherty Award for Best Documentary.
