Charlotte Moore's career began as a freelance researcher and AP,
travelling to remote corners of the world to make films about
cannibals, disappearing tribes and stolen art. As a
producer/director, her credits include Lagos Airport (C4), Great
Britons: Churchill (BBC2) and the RTS award winning series Living
with Cancer (BBC1). She later became Director of Contemporary
Factual at IWC Media, responsible for documentaries such as 18 with
a Bullet for BBC3 about street gangs in El Salvador, the drama doc
Kidnap Ronnie Biggs for C4 which tells the remarkable story of the
1981 mission to snatch Biggs from Brazil, and C4's new talent
strand for first time directors, The Other Side. She has recently
joined the BBC as an executive producer, working with documentaries
commissioning editor Richard Klein. She has also recently become a
part of the Grierson board of trustees.
