Angus has been making documentaries for twenty years - and been lucky enough to work with some of the best people and companies in the industry: from Brian Lapping and Norma Percy to Tom Roberts and Clive Gordon. He was part of October Films for many years.
His films range in subject and tone - the high politics of The Death of Yugoslavia, epic history in Gulag, and the dark comedy of Vodka and Dancing for Dollars.
Most recently he directed the observational series The Last Peasants and Cocaine.
His work has been shown all over the world.
Angus has been executive producer of a wide range of films. He has worked extensively with directors starting out on their broadcast careers.
