Clare Beavan

Clare Beavan has made a number of documentaries for the BBC including The Prince the Showgirl and Me which won the Grierson award for Most Entertaining documentary in 2004. She made 3 of the Simon Schama's History of Britain series - 'Dynasty', 'Body of the Queen' and 'The Two Winstons' - all of which received Bafta nominations.
Other work includes documentaries about Olga Korbut, Billie jean King and Lee Strasberg (nominated for an Emmy) for the BBC Reputations series.

She is currently directing and series producing for the forthcoming 8 part series called Simon Schama's Power of Art for the BBC.
