George Amponsah started making super 8 films at art college. It became clear to him that filmmaking was a meduim through which he could explore his concerns with identity. His post-graduate masters film won him a Post Office Scholarship in 1997 to attend the documentary course at the NFTS from where he graduated in 2001.
